Arete takes its name from the ancient Greek idea of excellence: fulfilling a purpose with care. It gives Arete Research Labs both a name and a direction.

For us, that direction belongs in the details. How a research material is described. How its documentation is presented. How clearly a question is answered. Each is part of the same experience.

The crest is the mark we place on that work. Our responsibility is to give it meaning.
